SOME SPOLIERS FOR HILDA'S EVENT

I haven't completed the event yet but...

I know have previously there were jokes about Leon's weapon resembling a saxophone.

No I think I know why.

As said in Hilda's event, Leon had a brother who loved jazz, who passed away.

Perhaps, that is the reason why his weapon looks the way it does.

Again, I just started reading the event so I don't know if the story flat out says it.

2019´s Hilda Secret Santa

Hello, Hilda fandom! Here’s the Hilda Fandom Network, and since the holidays are coming, we wanted to propose an event to warm up the fandom! We are going to do a Secret Santa!

Here’s how it’s going to work:

Each person, upon signing up, will give us a prompt that will be given to another blogger for them to make a fanfic, a piece of art, or an edit based off the prompt and the Hilda cartoon/books. Following this logic, each person will receive a prompt to work on too.

The gifts will all be posted on tumblr in the 25th of December, and the secret santas will be revealed.

Rules:

-Your prompt and your gift CAN NOT contain anything sexual.

-The gifts will be posted on tumblr on the 25th of December, but after that you may post your work on whichever platform you want to.

-If you choose to write a fanfic, you can do a multi chapter one, and you only need to post the first chapter on Christmas. The other chapters should be posted until February first.

-If you have any problems during the event, please message this blog or, if for any reason you can’t do that, contact the email [email protected]

-please don’t reveal yourself to your giftee before the scheduled day

-Fics should have at least 2.000 words

-Drawings should be a line-art, preferably coloured

Schedule:

We’ll accept signups from the 18th until the 25th of November

You will receive the prompt and url of your giftee until the 1st of December

On the 25th, the artists and those who chose to do edits should post their gifts, along with the first chapters of the writers.

By February 1st, all gifts should be completely posted.

How to sign up:

Your prompt:

Your prompt should be something among the lines of a context, a sentence, a setting, an AU, characters… you cannot use it to choose whether you want a fic or an art, though.

I’m sorry, I’m not sure why asks aren’t posting on this blog but..

We’re gonna go ahead and say both for this! This is because you won’t know the giftee’s site of preference.

You can either:

- Include an ao3 link and then a link to seperate tumblr post containing the fic (which should also be tagged with your giftee and this blog)

Or:

- Include an ao3 link at the beginning of the post, add a seperation border, and then add your fic into the space below it.

Just don’t forget to tag both your giftees blog and this one.
