This kid made me cry. I'm a fan of Lucas now.
"I hate when people that are gay and lesbian...they say that they're different but they're not really different."
"Hoo, is this a try not to cry challenge 'cause if it was I would've lost immediately."
Things I stay up thinking about
- Cyrus losing all confidence in his friendship with TJ.
- Cyrus' already low self-esteem reaching a new level of low.
- Cyrus trying to understand why TJ bailed on him when he was the one who suggested the costumes in the first place. And coming up with the (false false) idea that maybe TJ just wanted to get his hopes up only to shatter them when the time came.
- Cyrus crying in the bathroom after school and tears leaving wet streaks on his grey face. Tell me he's not about to cry here.
- Cyrus lying awake at night, hating himself for being stupid enough to actually think TJ Kippen would be any different.
....
- TJ thinking that Cyrus will never give him another chance. Cy gave him one when he mistreated Buffy, with the gun incident and now, this. Cyrus is kind but he can only forgive so much, right?
- TJ internally struggling with his sexual identity and being afraid but he can't even talk to the only person that will listen because he can't figure out how to admit his feelings to himself, let alone the boy he likes.
- TJ going home after costume day and staring at the board shorts, sunglasses and flip-flops sitting abandoned on his bed and floor, pulling his Dribble T-shirt off like he's on fire, angrily throwing it in his hamper and breaking down right then and there.
- TJ hating himself for hurting Cyrus and crying himself to sleep because he lost the one good thing he had.

I'm sorry.
Andi & Bex: Hugs
"Hey hon, did you just get in?"
Leslie Goodman turned around to greet her son, expecting his excited smile and twinkling eyes. When Cyrus left this morning, he chatted enthusiastically about costume day with TJ Kippen and she couldn't wait to hear about how it went.
She froze at the sight of red rimmed eyes and quivering lips.
"I wish Bubbe Rose was still here." Cyrus mumbled softly, poorly rubbed off grey paint stuck to the corner of his brow.
Somebody had to do it.
"I wanna be this kid's best friend." ~ Peyton Elizabeth Lee on Lucas Vazquez
You and me both, sister.
See, the Andi Mack community is small. Smaller than many of the other fanbases around tumblr anyway. It's like stepping into a party with a group of people you'd probably never get a chance to mingle with if it wasn't for having the shared interest of a show about a thirteen-year-old girl and her two best friends.
And here's the thing, you come into the party all nervous and fidgeting hands, looking down at your shoes and chewing lips, and in every corner you turn to, there's a friendly face. They all welcome you with open arms and sunny smiles. And you find yourself fitting right in.
