I have been waiting for Pretty Lethal to come out since I first heard of it. I watched it yesterday and it was so much fun

I wish we had a bit more time with the girls before everything went to shit and the fighting started but I had a lot of fun. The fighting was so heavy on the ballet side of it and it made the action scenes so entertaining and original which is really the best you can ask for for a movie about ballerina's fighting to survive

Maddie gave such a great performance and I feel like she should keep doing action/thriller/horrors because she has always had an incredible expressiveness and physicality obviously

Also Lana was a highlight as a selfish spoiled brat. I just love watching an all female cast kill men together

Bones with her septum piercing and multiple earrings is a lesbian to me and her and Princess are so enemies to lovers toxic yuri speed run idc

Cold War propaganda is something american film makers will never let go, even after unlearing their other prejudices apparently. Because they really said let's make a movie where a group of ballerinas, 2 white girls, an east asian girl, a south asian girl and a deaf girl, must work together to escape from a inn whose owner wants to kidnap them... in Hungary, the owner speaks with a creepy™️ easter european accent and her henchmen are wearing tracksuits

Like, I'm still going to watch it but c'mon people, it's 2026, can we stop with a "easter european are savages and trafficers who prey on innocent american women" trope?
