「 ✟ 」   ⋮   ＤＡＲＬＩＮＧ .   ⋮  ━━   The   laughter   is   practically   contagious   and   at   first,   it's   just   Oreo's   usual   cute,   absolutely   DARLING   giggles.   Though,   seconds   later,   he   decides   to   play   along   and   it   turns   to   MOCK   evil   laughter   as   he   clings   to   Henry   more   !   Oh,   what   a   terrible   and   vicious   little   demon   !

          ˗ˏˋ   ❛   Ha   HA   !   The   evil   ink   demon   has   slain   the   hero   and   now   he   owns   ya   soul   !    ❜  ˎˊ˗

                A   hug;   followed   by   even   MORE   snuggles   !   How   AWFUL   !

       ˗ˏˋ   ❛   Now   you   gotta   stay   with   me   FOREVER   as   punishment   !   You   were   still   gone   for   far   TOO   long   !   ❜  ˎˊ˗

              This   is   EXACTLY   why   you   don't   summon   demons   just   because   you   want   to   make   a   cartoon.   They   get   clingy.   They   get   VERY   clingy.

Bendy’s just a big baby who wanted attention from his creator.

Wait wait! Henry no don’t you dare! Encre tries to stand back up with Henry but that’s not going to work and instead ends up slipping on the ground instead.

                   It was always the same argument.

          It always ended the same way.

Why it needed to continue was a fact that both evaded Joey and drove him to endless irritation.

--- “Well, Henry, if you’re so knowledgeable, why don’t you write the scripts?”  The sarcasm was thick, cut only by the sharpness in his tone.  “In fact, why don’t you run the whole company while you’re at it?  ‘Henry Werks Studio’ - yes it just rolls off the tongue doesn’t it?”

          A slight overreaction, perhaps, but it was spurred by the build-up of repeated negative emotion towards this same damned argument.

「 ✟ 」   ⋮   ＤＡＲＬＩＮＧ . ⋮  ━━   The   WEEKEND   was   coming   ...   wasn't   it   ?

              A   stare   upon   an   ink-stained   calendar.   MOST   people   ...   they   looked   forward   to   the   weekend,   almost   running   out   the   studio,   akin   to   little   children   from   a   schoolhouse.   BENDY   however   ...   he   hated,   absolutely   ABHORRED   the   weekends.   Even   if   the   other   toons   like   Boris   were   around   to   keep   him   company   ...   it   was   always   HENRY'S   company   he   adored   the   most   !

              (   It   was   as   if   his   life   DEPENDED   on   it   !   )

              This   studio   lacked   WINDOWS   (   for   some   reason   or   another;   he   could   never   understand   Joey.   ),   but   the   ticking   of   the   clocks   in   his   visage   were   enough   to   know   that   the   workday   was   ALMOST   OVER.   Henry   wasn't   around;   most   likely   trying   to   get   some   drawing   or   another   approved   by   Joey   ...   but   this   gave   the   little   devil   a   chance   !

              Pie-cut   hues   eye   a   large   bag   laying   at   Henry's   desk.   EUGH   ...   too   small   and   cramped   for   his   liking.   If   he   were   to   slip   inside   inside   ...   he   would   REALLY   be   testing   his   own   psychological   limits   !   

              A   SHUDDER.   It   was   either   that   or   be   without   Henry   for   a   painstaking   THREE   DAYS   !

              Left   ...   right   ...   NO   Henry   in   sight.   Well   ...   maybe   if   he   left   the   bag   just   a   LITTLE   open   ...

              NO   time   to   waste.   He   could   still   hear   Henry's   footsteps.   With   that,   he   slid   into   the   bag   and   WAITED.

Henry laughing lost in the branches.

Of course it would be Henry. Of course. And of course it would be one of his best friends wrapped up in the mischief right along with him. Closing his eyes, Joey intakes a deep breath, filling his diaphragm before exhaling slowly from his nose. He had to remain calm and composed: This wasn’t a situation where Joey could nor would lose his temper. Clapping his hands together, he faces the crowd with a jovial, goofy smile, reassuring in his tone.

“ Don’t worry folks, just a li’l accident! Nothin’ I can’t fix. ”

Strolling over to the tree, he scowls down at his best pal with a shake of his head, hand grabbing the fabric of his shirt to try and pull him up to his feet. “ C’mon, Henry, I think you’ve had one too many. ”
