Re-watching The Summer I Turned Pretty and that reminds me of Hinny, Belly/Ginny being younger than Conrad/Harry, him not noticing her as romantic interest and then suddenly she is everywhere, her being in love with him since forever and then dating other people but still getting back to each other cause they are the love of each other’s life. Also, Steven/Ron clearly rooting for Belly/Ginny and Conrad/Harry to be the endgame.
