Other than that!! Bill/Pyronica seems interesting, especially since her design is apparently inspired by his flames. And. Bill/Stanford is one of those guilty pleasure “god-I-know-this-gets-really-unhealthy-but-it’s-kinda-fascinating” ships
friendship them with: his entire gang of transdimensional weirdos and criminals are GREAt. Good lord. They’re the ~edgy, cool~ kids who throw rave parties and drink illegal Time Punch, what nerds. I particularly imagine Pyronica to be his second in command and they’re besties and go shopping at demon malls together.
in AUs where Bill gets a redemption arc I especially love the idea of him palling around with Mabel. I think Mabel is one of those characters that could probably befriend just about anyone if given enough time, and she might actually end up feeling sorry for him once she learns his Tragic Backstory as per The Headcanons. Also. This.
general opinions: THIS TRIANGULAR PIECE OF TRASH, I unfortunately love him. Dreamscaperers was such a fantastic episode, it had me reacting out loud to my tv when I first watched it. And Bill was SUCH an interesting addition to the show. His final warning and his ambiguous morals reminded me of some of the deeper mysteries of Twin Peaks in a snappy, weird, funny package. I’m still pretty sad that as far as canon goes he’s just Pure Evil, because I love me my redemption arcs and was kind of hoping that he’d end up as part of the weirdo Gravity Falls family by the end, but hey that’s what fanfic is for, I suppose.
Also, apparently Alex had a charity stream where he drew his own horrifying version of human!Bill, and since then I’ve seen at least one fan get all high and mighty about it like “HAHA YES THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ALL THE PRETTY BOY HUMAN BILLS SUCK ON IT” and it’s like. Chill. Anyone can interpret human Bill any way they want? It’s not canon? Alex is a troll, he was never going to draw a good looking human Bill like. IDK.
