On the subject of hair (re:post about Shinji’s long hair), Kotone’s ponytail always felt like the perfect thing for Shinji to grab onto as well imo. 🙂↕️
And I love to think about Shinji admiring the difference in Kotone’s hair when it’s down and she’s cozy and relaxed, vs. Kotone liking to see Shinji’s tied up while he cooks…
i do have a scene in a future fic where he pulls her ponytail so hard she arches her back... and of course pulling it as he walks by just. i find it hilarious imagining him doing that like he's a gradeschooler pulling on a girl's pigtails because he likes her.
i have written this but i think when kotone's hair is down he just cannot stop staring at her because god she's so beautiful, he never sees her like this. and i think it's especially poignant in canon that he likely only gets to see her like that during the night they spend together.
of course in a story where they both get to live, i do think the hairstyle analysis is quite beautiful like wow kotone is comfortable enough to let her hair down around him, literally and figuratively. seeing this other side of her that only he gets to see... how lucky he is.
and GOD, the image of shinjiro tying his hair up to cook. put him in the pink apron too and kotone is all over him. he has to force her to choose between sex and food and it's a hard choice for sure (wink wink). of course he would give her both because he loves her and is down bad pathetic for her so it's really a choice of which first. and i think we both know which one i would say happens first......
