Finally made it to the newly restored Formosa last night for dinner! So worth a visit! The Formosa first opened it’s doors in 1939. Back then it was situated across from the Samuel Goldwyn Studio and stars like Frank Sinatra, Humphrey Bogart, James Dean, and Elvis Presley would pop into the legendary Formosa Cafe for dining and drinks. I would recommend booking a table in the iconic and original trolley car which dates back to 1904 and is confirmed to be the oldest surviving red train car in existence. It is such a great experience!!!@1933group have done a fantastic job of bringing this back to life and the attention to detail is amazing!!! I went there a million years ago when it had seen better days and I am so impressed with it’s revitalization!!! Check on the photos @theformosa and treat yourself to a fun evening out!!! The food was delicious too!!! #theformosacafe #historichollywood https://www.instagram.com/p/B1KgLg9nZrU/?igshid=14fpg1oi424og
