“Oh, huh. Hi there,” Billy stops where he is, hoists his textbooks where they’re balanced on his hip and rolls his shoulder so his overladen satchel hangs against his butt rather than smacking his thigh with each step, “Enjoying the compound lifestyle then?”

He glances over to the folks under the tree and then gives the guy a crooked smile, “Suppose we can find you some deprogramming therapy, huh? There’s a coffeeshop that-a-way where bunches of psych students congregate.” No never mind that he still doesn’t even know this guy’s name – halfway through the hell day he’s glad to see a familiar face that isn’t shoving new assignments at him.

❝ Oh yeah , lovin’ every minute of it . ❞ All in good fun , Bear stuck his tongue out ,  a laugh full of fake annoyance passing his lips . They hadn’t been that bad at first , but boy did it take a turn near the end . 

With a glance & a smile back at his new friends , Bear pointed at the textbooks , a silent offer to carry the burden . ❝ I dunno , man , I think it may be too late for me .
