Hitachino 639 Post Street, San Francisco
A dream came true - as I enjoyed the $68 price fixe dinner option at the new #hitachinosf outpost in #sanfrancisco. Several small and tasty courses that featured both domestic and Japanese #wagyu #beef. Outstanding meal - especially being paired with my favorite @hitachinosf #beers - still loving my #whiteale I think the best. (at Hitachino Beer & Wagyu)
The meal started with the melon in edamame sauce topped with domestic wagyu corned beef. Perfection.
Highlights included the seared Japanese Wagyu on top of a bed of grated radish with yuzu dressing. Also the Tantan Ramen with ground Wagyu in the center - incredible noodles, as well.
Definitely go early and sample some of the rare beers in keg from Japan - not to be found outside of Tokyo except here. The Saison du Japon was refreshing - infused with Yuzu.
