Still grimey, still Street, but the beauty and polished sound behind this one shows that he’s got his craft completely on lock as far as making something that perfectly fuses the glamour with the dirt. He’s a character with all the signature adlibs and flows but not to be taken lightly in the least, it’s entertaining but still it’s hard tales from the ground up, along with braggadocio that only the flygod himself can proclaim convincingly as facts. The mood of this album feels just like the time it was released which helped me connect to it immediately upon release, like a cold December day, holiday season in the hood.
