hey hugh! i will answer this to the best of my ability for Heckna! (for context Heckna is the main BBEG from hitpointpress's module of the same name but i'm insane about him so. stolen.)
First impression. I was really struck by the fun contrast of "easy going guy who just wants to have a good time and make people laugh" and "guy who is imagining different ways to murder you" - not at all a new concept for a character, but the way HHP portrays it is very fun. Also, love jesters. Really great BBEG character, excited to see these freaks kill him.
Impression now Look upon the moon, our spotlight of false promises! A reflection of the sun's warmth, the hollow light that we climb and cling to! The stage bellow us cold and retched! How little space we have left for others under our light, our moonbeam. For even fireflies mistake danger for the sun! When is our spotlight not light at all? And when is a mask not a mask? when we are born, we cry that we are come to this great stage of fools!
Favorite moment I mean, she's from a dnd campaign, so that's a little hard to quantify. All I can say is, if what I think is going to happen - happens - then what you might learn of them from the Tunnel of Love level is definitely up there.
Idea for a story. I'm very interested in anything pre-campaign (specifically, pre-Revelia), or maybe something exploring his friendship(?) with Dr Sophie.
Unpopular opinion. I mean. I'm the DM. Most of my opinions are unpopular
Favorite relationship. HMMMM what the module includes of Heckna's friendship with Dr Sophie is very compelling. They have pretty contrasting personalities (though they agree on many things, such as Pinky :o) ) so it's always fun doing scenes with both of them. I also really enjoy he and Cicero's dynamic, for reasons im sure you're beginning to put together.
Favorite headcanon. Again, I've altered many things from the module, so a lot of details that I incorporate into how I roleplay him are headcanons. Being gender queer, paying his employees, giving his employees living quarters, [REDACTED], [SUPER REDACTED], and having a piano are all a few headcanons.
