Day 11: A fine day in Charlotte guided by our friendly host, Soemi, which left us completely exhausted yet quite content. The day started by fueling up at Brooks sandwich house, which is quite a bustling establishment (term used lightly). This was an important step, however, as we tested our strength and nerves in the ropes and climbing courses at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. Recovery was sweet with food at Sabor Latin Street Grill, drinks at The Olde Meckenburg Brewery and spiked dessert from Fu Manchu Cupcakes. I think it’s safe to claim victory in this great city.
