i have a very faint memory of some Canadian history thing from elementary school, where Québeçois hivernants would play these elaborate cabin games with knives, spoons and shit... as i recall they were the origin of lumberjack games we see now and also the cultural basis for Cirque du Soleil, but i can’t find information about it anywhere. i remember one of our teachers had videos about them, i just don’t remember what any of it was called
