A many layered Moss Agate stone sits in a scalloped bezel, wrapped in double strands of roped wire. Nestled amongst a banana leaf. A plant I've chosen to line all my fences because of their incredible bright energy, and beautiful flowers. A handout and stamped band, adorned with cascading suns to represent the uplifting energy this ring is meant to bring the wearer.
Banana plants have symbolism in many cultures and religions, but the most represented is being a symbol for fertility and prosperity, due to its continuous reproduction. It is a vibrant plant that exudes growth and vitality.
Moss Agate is a stone that is extremely beneficial as a body strengthener in times of stress. Its steady energies aid those who feel unstable or ungrounded. It is an excellent stone for convalescing after illness, or in recovery from addictions. It enhances mental concentration, persistence and endurance. It is a stone for new beginnings
In the center of the band I have chosen to stamp the Othala rune from the Elder Furthark. Othala stands for “Home” or “Sacred Ancestral Property”. It signifies a wealth greater than money, but one of wealth in relationships with friends and family, and one of rich culture and heritage. I felt this was fitting for a ring meant to showcase the comforts and wealth that my home of New Orleans brings out in my life.
All of the elements involved make this an immensely positive talisman.
