okay, so ive had this idea for a while now, and trust me its good

its about a human who has done so well in his xenobotany studies at Starfleet that hes eligible for an intergalactic internship study aboard a Vulcan science vessel. All he has to do is go to the Vulcan Science Academy, take their test, and he'll be placed on the appropriate ship for the next 6 years or be sent home if he doesn't meet their exceedingly high standards.

Major Jones is that human. Hes an over emotional, tactile as fuck, terrible singing lieutenant in Starfleet (and yes, the terrible singing thing is relevant info) and has always wanted to further his studies away from the Terran Fleet and all of their "safety codes and regulations", and also expand his knowledge of foreign life. What better way than to join this once in a lifetime experience?

Major leaves his long-time girlfriend behind in favour of furthering his studies. In fact. she seemed awful eager to get him gone...

Aboard the ship, he meets T'Pring, her husband Stonn, and 48 other Vulcans on this tiny ship, the Vorrik.

What kind of shenanigans will he get up to?
