Okay but Thorin kissing Bilbo's belly affectionately, partially due to him being glad the hobbit's finally gained his normal weight back after the journey, but Bilbo has his head tilted back and he's so giggly bc it tickles and his beard is only making it worse

But he's also not pushing away because he likes the affection and attention

He only starts to grab for Thorin's hands when the dwarrow starts grabbing at the pudge on his hips, intentionally tickling him

here is a failed piece of bilbo playing with some bumblebees or are they playing with him? i took inspiration from the 2nd movie. He is so cute i wanna keep drawing him laughing and being tickled.

Hobbit with a non-hobbit partner, constantly messing with and tickling their feet because it's fascinating to them that someone can be so sensitive on their feet

Hobbits canonically have very thick, tough soles to support walking on rough terrain and for long periods of time, plus they don't often leave the shire or interact with outsiders, so I imagine if a hobbit befriended or married someone who isn't a hobbit, they'd probably be pretty fascinated with how small, soft, and sensitive their feet are

"Is this why you lot wear boots? Because even the softest of touches make you squirm around and giggle?"

I'm actually writing a fic based on this between Bilbo and Thorin

I have decided that Bilbo Baggins likes being tickled and Thorin uses him as a stress ball

Thorin: I wouldn't ask if I didn't want to.

Bilbo, red in the face: Ah- then.. yes. I would like that.
