A few more impressions from Suzhou. Chinese trains really are always on time (unnerving to someone who is used to the Deutsche Bahn)! For some reason they have Hobbit doors in random places (did they get the idea from the Lord of the Rings movie or the other way round?). Funfact: the Skyline of Suzhou includes a building that looks like a pair of trousers. Whoever came up with this idea? (It is, however, an easy to recognise landmark which is great as I live close by)
