BAPTISED AND LOVED ❤ || . So much emotions on a history making Saturday. I'm super grateful for all the love received from God and the best people ever from G4! Thank you @angelaajl for your love 🙆🏻and the beautifully handwritten card ✍🏼and cup design for @fisharman..Thank you G4 for being there and congrats to Darryl, Ros and Lichang as well for your baptism too! . Thanks everyone for coming to witness our baptism. Thanks to my brother and @mayheecs son: @wanhuaaa and @fawntan_ for being there to witness this victorious moment👍🏼👍🏼! Means a lot to Mummy and I that we were all there together. . Thanks for the friends who congratulated us! . Thank God for fulfilling His promises to me that I will get baptized as a family. I never thought it's possible, now even getting baptised with my husband @fisharman and parents! I continue to trust in You the people I have in my heart and burdened to get to know You. . Thank you Pastors @seowhow and @lia_chan for building the House of God💒 and for staying in the pool for hours to baptize everyone! It was only 1min for us but it was already cold with the wind blowing. Thank you all the Baptism team getting this organized so that all of us can get baptized in order and not worry about everything! . Jonah

After reading the book of Jonah, I remembered last week’s sermon about Spiritual Hunger. Charleston shared how we cannot neglect feeding our spirit, it was so powerful when he shared that:

1) Our hunger determines the supply 

2) Our hunger has to be daily

3) Our hunger can be lost 

I think for me, the second point struck me the most cos its so easy to let the busyness, especially during exam period to sort of put my hunger “on halt”, in fact, these kind of things still happen. But Charleston reminded me how we need a fresh word and revelation everyday. Daily!! For we pray, “Give us this day our daily bread”. He shared how Pastor Lia always prays before reading the word, for a word equal to her day. wow how amazing it would be if everyday I could be like Pastors, having a new word for each day. They are really my role models who inspire to be more like them, to be more like Jesus. 

Also, Charleston shared how we cannot survive on our past revelations and words from God, we need to hear God continually. So here I am, hungering for more of God, for a new revelation! I read the book of Jonah and wanted to write about it somewhere so that I can remember it...

Anyway, I think the story of Jonah is beautiful. It showed me God’s heart for every single person on this Earth, and how much he loves them, whether they are Christian or not. For whatever evil, bad and ugly things that has already been done, God’s love and forgiveness will still be for them. Its so out of this world that Jonah couldn't accept it. Then this story also showed me how God can still use someone who has disobeyed him to do something great. Jonah showed me how it is possible to have God’s call so clearly in his life. How pride and complacency is so real in our hearts and we need God to teach us to take it away.. I’ve learn so much today just by reading for half an hour.   

Today, I am in awe of God’s love, of how God teaches us and molds us. I want to be humble before You! 

Was about to end this long post on a nice note of what God’s word is for me today, but I HAVE to write down this quote that Charleston shared last week. Still letting it sink in and really understand what it means to be a follower like this.

SPIRITUAL HUNGER

BOOK OF EXODUS 16:1-20(NLT)

1.Hunger(spiritual) determine the supply.

remember that GOD IS OUR GREATEST PROVIDER AND SUPPLIER.

WE CAN KNOW THE MIRACLES OF GOD BUT NOT THE GOD OF MIRACLES!

2.SET OUR HUNGER DAILY.

EXODUS 16:4&20

Everyday,the children of israel go out in the morning to collect their daily portion of food.

*ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU YOUR DAILY BREAD.-----ask Him to give you a word equal to your day.

*GET FRESH REVELATION FROM GOD,AND LET GOD UNFOLD YOUR NEW REVELATION( EXODUS 16:19-20)

-when you pray,don’t pray for condemnation,but the desire you wants today.

3.Hunger can be lost

EXODUS 11:6

WHY WOULD WE LOSE OUR APPETITE?

-complacency(taking God’s presence for granted)

-pain(getting criticized,past experiences)

-stress

-sickness(unforgiving sins)--->come clean with Him,and He will help you.
