hello i’m here (late) with my filthy queer opinions

i’m not excited about s76 being gay! i give blizz props for making two of their mascots queer, but i know they’re doing ‘social experiments’ with their community; i’m incredibly suspicious of tokenism! also, it took them almost three years to announce two gay heroes, instead of letting them be queer from the start. they need to do better. let heroes of color be queer, and at least include the B and the T in their LG.

-widowmaker/zenyatta (i just want widow to find peace and zenyatta to have some closure on mondatta’s death)

it’s nice running into other people who are ride or die for their ow rarepairs. i just found someone with a link in their desc with a dissertation on why junkrat and pharah would make a good couple. now if only i could find like, zenyatta/widowmaker. does moira/sombra even have a name?

Did you hear about t/rans-j/unk-r/at deleting his blog?

I didn’t, no, but it was easy to find mentions of it. Something to the effect of two big name fans clashing over dumb shit and TJR trying his usual smear tactics? Either way, he’s not likely to vanish. Keep an eye out for a new name cropping up in interactions with his buddies.

Tag changelog

i was due for an organization overhaul so here’s some of the new changes you can find in my tags:

-more specific nsfw & kink tags, including my lovely caregiver/little tag

-went back and tagged cisswaps even though i’m not 100% comfortable with doing that for things not explicitly stated to be cisswaps (still in progress while i iron that out; i may end up using a different tag)

-sorted out my zarya/roadhog ship tags

-updated my soft hog and headcanons tags

-took the slashes out of bigotry-related tags for a more accessible archive of fandom bigotry, in light of the recent smearfest that erased most of the nuance from my posts (i’m a tag talker)

-retroactively tagged fandom wank more consistently for any and all discourse-y posts (and sometimes just my complaining)

-added nsfw art back into my general character tags (so my roadhog and junkrat tags are about twice as big now)

-added a Nasty Junkers hall of fame for Extra Nasty Junker Porn, and small fav and meta tags

-tagged every pachimari

-went back and added content warnings for tusks bc you can really tell the point where i started to get uncomfortable with them

I'm sick of the drama in the fandom, but I wanted to say I've followed you for a long time because you're seriously the only person I've seen actively validate bisexual, pansexual, and asexual identities. I'm going to need to unfollow for a while because of the effect the drama has on my mental health. But thank you for making the world a bit brighter for those of us who are small and scared; you've made my time in the Overwatch fandom a bit better <:)
