I could not photograph the in box. The front plastic was too reflective. So here is the "lovely kitten" figure from the special figure series. I guess I have something new to look for now. I found it at Comic Con Honolulu for a very good price ;) thanks comic con.

Hokukon Panel Results

So yeah, the panel went better than expected. I was really worried that I wouldn’t get a whole lot of people, seeing as it was a pretty small con and a very specialized topic, but I got like 20+ people in there and even turned a bunch of people on to the new Manga. I only had 30 minutes to really run through everything I’d prepared and I wish I could have spent more time with it but it was a cool experience. I will definitely try and bring this Kawaii Con next year (Apr 7-9) if I have the time to. By then there will actually be something to talk about with the new Manga too. Thanks if you stopped by, will post some con swag later ;P

Hokukon Panel

Hey everyone, sorry I’ve been quiet recently. Been caught up in life. Big news though, I got approved for a Cardcaptor Sakura Panel at Honolulu Comic Con! Hawaii Comic Con (Hokukon) is going to be held in July 29-31 in Honolulu Convention Center, and I’ll be doing a Cardcaptor information panel on Sunday the 31st at 1:30-2:00. Primarily it’ll be a brief history and intro to the series so it’s for new comers, but there will be plenty of factoids for old fans to appreciate, and of course there will be a plug for the new series coming out.

One idea I had was to make a quick note on the fandom, especially the one here on Tumblr, and I thought maybe I’d have like one slide listing a bunch of Cardcaptor-themed blogs. I’ll be plugging the Museum obviously but if anyone else would like a quick name drop just send me a note asking for details. I haven’t exactly worked out the finer points of this yet but just drop me a note if you’re interested.

It’s a small gig but hey this is the first time I’ve ever hosted a panel. If you live in Hawaii/Oahu and want to come out and see the panel, the official schedule will be posted in a couple days. Maybe I’ll see some of you there.

Hawaii Comic Con

Hey all, it's not official yet but I am planning to go to Hawaii Comic Con in Honolulu, and I'm trying to get a panel spot to do a Cardcaptor Sakura panel! The organizers have been pretty flakey with my emails though so this is more just a general thing.
