Gregory would say he was starting to get used to being stared at by animatronics, but he felt like there really was no true getting used to something like that. These things were meant to stare but never meant to see, their eyes glassy && blinking only with mechanical rhythm.
When those eyes blinked, he blinked back. No movement. He didn’t want to look away first. The memory of the Endos was still far too close at hand, glowing red eyes that never faltered until he did. Chunky mechanical fingers that just grazed the back of his shirt as he leapt around. Like the world’s ugliest, most unfair game of RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT.
But the rabbit wasn’t looking away, either.
Finally, frustrated, he demanded, ❝do I have something on my face, or what??❞
