#bosslady up - it’s Monday and yes I have been wearing #pleatedskirts (this one under $30) on the daily! They are more forgiving to my #holidaybelly than a pencil skirt! This #worklook is available 👉 http://liketk.it/2zcRn or Shop my daily looks by following me on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app 🙏 it’s time for #mondaymotivation 🙏In this time of #goalsetting and trying to do so much as possible to achieve those goals, I want to remind us of how we can and should do less of some things!!!!! Sometimes, we need to change or remove certain things in our lives in order to mature or grow -- an item, a person or a behaviour or habit that is detrimental to us progressing and achieving our life goals. What do you need to REMOVE? What are some things you need to LET GO? (And I don’t mean the website although it is a good one 😉) What are becoming barriers or obstacle to you moving forward. For example, you wish to be fit and healthier. One of your goals is to eat less and exercise more. But you realize that you don’t have enough time to do the latter. But, why don’t you have enough time? What’s using all your time? If it’s working too much or spending lazy hours watching TV or surfing the internet, then that’s the root cause of the problem. Identify the root cause then solve it. You can either minimize your lazy time or remove it entirely. But some problems are opportunities as well. Like your job or your boss. Don’t just resign from your current job thinking that by doing so, you will be able to have more time in pursuing your goals in life. Give it a timeframe instead. How long would you like to stay in your current job hence deal with your existing boss. Solving those problems might be instrumental in moulding your competencies and character. These will become building blocks necessary for you to achieve your goals in the future. “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the heavenly prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” PHIL 3:13-14 #houstonblogger #stylecollective #scstylechallenge #careerblogger #liketkit @liketoknow.it (at Houston, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/BsWUPSBFJoW/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1g79i0768g5ei
