Since I did one so recently I'm not going to pass it on, I don't want to spam you poor creatures. I will answer the questions, though!
1. What’s your favourite beverage? Ah, I’m just one of those people, you know? It’s probably coffee. On a good day I might even say a mocca but usually it’s just coffee. Or pineapple juice. I love pineapple juice. 2. Do you like comics? If yes, who’s your favourite character? YES! But due to my location, they’re in limited supply. My all-time favourite is Batman, though. The Phantom was also hugely important to me while I was growing up. Hawkeye - and especially Matt Fraction’s works – have been pretty big for me this past year. But yeah, Batman. 3. If you could spend a whole day with a famous person (dead or alive), who would it be and what would you do? I want to say someone like Tolkien, or Norwegian author Knut Hamsun, because I feel like I have so many questions. Hanging out with Steve Irwin would be fantastic. But let’s face it, realistically, there’s a good chance I’d choose Dan Feuerriegel and then spend the entire day just staring at him from a distance. I’m not a people person. 4. You get holiday trip for free. Where would you go? Ooooh! New Zealand would be really cool, or Russia. I’ve always wanted to go there. Rotterdam is an option too, to see my sister. 5. What was the last film you watched? Did you like it? Err… That was probably the LEGO Batman movie. And yes, I actually did like it. It was simple, quirky and surprisingly fun. Felt like the game. 6. Google or Bing? Google. I’m not sure I’ve ever even tried Bing. I’ll have to give that a go. 7. If you could change one thing in a story of a book you’ve read, what would it be? Heaven help me, I’m going to spend this one on Twilight. Or Breaking Dawn, if you will. There are a million things to say about it, and while I’m a total sucker for a happy ending, that one really didn’t sit right with me. I’ve made this point before somewhere, that after building it up like that, it was really cheap and I feel like Meyer easily could have sacrificed some characters. Like Sam the Alpha. (Which would’ve made Jacob the definite leader of the pack and triggered all that great “oh but he didn’t even want to be alpha”-angst we all love so much.) Still have no shit to spare for Twilight. Just another thing about these books that bugs me. 8. What colour is your favourite backpack/handbag? Not sure I have a favourite, but they are all black. The one I use most often is black and green with a bit of silver. 9. You get the chance to travel back in time. But everything you do could change the future. Would you do it anyway? Oh, that’s hard. I’m not sure. Maybe not? I’m a little less of an explorer, and more like someone who reads about explorers, you know? I’m terrified, that’s basically what I’m saying.
10. Current favourite fictional character? You really ask tricky questions, don’t you? I’m not sure, right now I’m reading The Night Circus and I really like Marco. Other than that, I have some all-time faves like Ford Prefect and this really rad guy called Gabriel Mørk, from one of my favourite Norwegians. And our dear Mr Wayne, of course.
11. If you could make a remake of a film, which one would it be? Avatar: The Last Airbender. The Golden Compass probably could’ve done with one, too. Or are we not talking about those?
