WOULDNT YOU TRUST THIS HOLY COMFORTER?
There's a snowstorm here, so I took an alternate route home and passed by a part of town I haven't driven by recently. There was always this church that made me laugh because its name was Church of the Holy Comforter and I would always picture a blanket with a halo and angelic voices raised in a choral ode to the comforter and damn it, guys, the church is now named something bland and plebian and I'm so sad. I used to imagine kids driving by and laughing, pointing at the sign while mom or dad tried to explain to them with a smile on their faces and gd it why did they change?????!?!?!?!??

We passed an Episcopal church yesterday named Holy Comforter.
I laughed for at least a mile. I would stop, then burst out laughing again.
My mind could not stop thinking of a snuggly bed comforter. With holes.
Good thing the husband was driving.
