Welcome to Your New Home - Housing 1.9 Update

This guide is to help you enjoy the update as of making this guide. It's a bit long, but it has the basic information on the abilities and tips based on the system. Now if you've been playing, you may not need it, but may have tips to help you consider how to better organize resource and Astralite farming. This is going to be great for anybody new, especially to make sure you have resources for building when you start getting into the Construction ability.

This was a HUGE guide to make, please point out any mistakes!!

Nikkitober Day 4 - Meadow Symphony

How did this take so long that I have to play catch up now. Y_Y

Started painting the living room today - it's a really pale blue, so I was worried the coverage would be bad, and so I scrubbed down the walls fully before I started painting.

Then when I opened the can of paint after a quick jiggle to mix, the oil and paint were compleeetely separated, so I had to spend like 15 minutes mixing it again, and then the coverage was even worse than I'd worried it'd be.

The paint brand I use needs to layers with the darker colours, I think I'm going to have to do 3 or 4 layers with this colour 🫤

I was also worried I might have another case of having picked the wrong colour, because it's a more green-blue than the light blue I planned, but I did some rough Photoshop edits and have decided this colour does actually work for the space better. Now I just need to figure out how to fix my coverage issue.

Alright, I’ve got a Home Situation Update 

I don’t think I’m in danger of being kicked out anymore. As I am in no way shape or form ready to be turned out on my ear at a moments notice I made the split second decision to go to art school and I told my family, which seems to have pleased my parents. My mom hasn’t said anything about me leaving or not, but she seems at least a little supportive. 

I still plan on leaving, as I don’t feel any safer here than before and everythings just really bad, but I think I have the chance to make that choice of where and when on my own terms now.

However, even if I’m not immediately in danger, I’m still stuck in a pretty shitty situation. I’ve got to make a choice of where I go to school and apply to as many scholarships as I can before scholarships close down. Then there’s the incoming debt and rent that I will have to eventually pay. Thankfully, when I do get to school there are lots of choices of on campus jobs that will hopefully hold me over.

I am also without a car and my laptop is literally falling apart and dying on me. 2018 really hasn’t given me the best start, as it seems to only be one thing after the other. 

I am still without a steady income, and until I can land a job I can still do commissions, and believe me they’ll be open for some time yet. I would still like to make the 500$ mark by the end of May in case shit hits the fan, at least for emergencies. Thank you all who have commissioned me and sent donations so far, it means the world to me!
