If there was one meeting the Light Faye had been putting off since his rescue from the demons, it was the one with the young Blackwood. Not only did Marshall feel slightly responsible for bringing Arynn into the world of the supernatural, but his deal with Mara was unlikely to cover him... As much as Marshall cared for the young human, he might cause the young man future despair... It was a thought that had been leaving a bad taste in the Light Faye’s mouth the nights after Spear broke up the demons’ plans.
Parking his car, it was odd not to find Arynn trying to pick apart conspiracy theories on his porch. Then again, after knowing what went bump in the dark, it’d make sense a human would take their investigation to the safety and privacy of their safe haven. “Arynn?” Marshall called in order to avoid startling the younger male before knocking on the door.
