This Skillet Steak with Gorgonzola Herbed Butter is rich and tasty, and it's great for a fancy dinner or a home-cooked date night. There is a rich and creamy Gorgonzola herb butter on top of the juicy beef steaks that is cooked to perfection in a skillet. This makes every bite feel extra special.
Ingredients: 2 beef steaks such as ribeye or sirloin, about 1 inch thick. Salt and black pepper, to taste. 2 tablespoons butter, softened. 2 tablespoons crumbled Gorgonzola cheese. 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh herbs such as parsley, thyme, and rosemary.
Instructions: Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper. Place the steaks in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired level of doneness. While the steaks are cooking, mix together the softened butter, crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, and chopped herbs in a small bowl until well combined. Once the steaks are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. Top each steak with a dollop of the Gorgonzola herbed butter, allowing it to melt slightly over the hot steak. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
