Homeless fox, sculpture by Laura Ford. It was bought by Stockholm and placed outside of Prime Minister's Office and the Government Chancellery in Sweden, close to Old Town and Parliament. It stands there as a reminder for those most privileged, a reminder that there is still work to be done, so that everyone can live with dignity. Because it's a fox, I think you can read it two ways, one not excluding the other. Since foxes and homeless people have a lot in common. Both are surrounded with harmful stereotypes, both struggle to survive (foxes are constantly losing their natural habitat, which often makes them venture to seek food in the cities).
