We’re doing respite for a little boy that’s a little older than Addie. He’s adorable! He keeps asking to go outside and saying he needs to go potty (he doesn’t he just likes saying it)

The girls had their end of year performance at Homelink tonight and my mom and middle sister both made it which was a pleasant surprise.

I spent the morning cleaning and then after *Batman got dropped off we ran and grabbed Ella, went to the ballet studio for a mandatory meeting, I did Jennifer’s hair and make up for dance pictures, ran to the bank to pull money out for activities and such, ran back to the studio to fill out/drop off the picture order form, ran to Costco to get pizza for dinner, dropped the littles off at Ashley’s house, grabbed Jennifer from ballet, and then made it to the high school 15 minutes before the performance started. I felt so bad that both Jen and Nikki had to miss rehearsal for it but such is life. All their teachers were understanding. The girls were wonderful. The dance team did their Walk Like an Egyptian number which is honestly one of my favorites, Jen’s drama club did a pantomime, Jen was in the fashion show for the dress and shrug she made, Jen and Nikki had their tap dance performance, Nikki had her Irish dance performance.... it was a full night and they all did so well!

Rory’s working long hours this weekend. One thing I don’t like about camp is when he’s gone for 14+ hours for days at a time. It wasn’t so bad when we lived there because we’d see him at meal times but that’s not the case anymore. Oh well. I just remind myself of all the positives and how they outweigh the negatives. For now.

Addie has been sleeping with Jennifer the last two night and it’s been so nice having the bed to ourselves! She wants Addie to sleep with her the nights she doesn’t have school so we’ll see if she wants to keep it up. I’m ok with it if she is!

I’m not sure what time Batman wakes up for the day but I’m hoping he sleeps in since he was up a couple hours past his normal bedtime tonight. 🤞🏻
