I’m extending Honesty Hour

I’m going to be cleaning, so reponses will be intermittent, but throw some stuff at my children, pls.

“fuzzy socks, because i can keep an eye on them more consistently than slippers. butternut tends to steal my cute cat slippers and then bite and scratch at them. i guess she doesn’t like competition.”

what's one thing you hope is under the christmas tree?

“look, i know capitalism is bad and eat the rich and all that, but i can’t lie and say that there’s no part of me wishing to find stacks of cash under the christmas tree. i have a kid incoming, and as much as i love my job, being able to simply focus on my family-to-be is a nice fantasy. but it’s just that, a fantasy.”

if you could create your own holiday, when would it be and what would it be dedicated to?

“a holiday dedicated to shutting the fuck up would be nice. we’d all just be inside our rooms and not bothering anyone else.”

do you know anyone who just really needs a hug?

“lane. i know he likes to act out like a cranky little toddler because he’s very, very sad inside. and he looks up to me, so i just want to let him know that it’s Okay. To Be Vulnerable.”

do you want to get closer to diana?

“the truth is, if it’s a matter of want, why not? i like having a close family. the truth is that i really do want to give diana a chance. but i’m kind of bad at reading people socially. she confuses me. sometimes, she seems nice and sometimes she seems condescending and disdainful. but am i rooting for us to be on good terms? to be actual friends? yes.”

do you feel like all of the work you put into becoming a radiologist was worth it? why or why not?

“look, freshly 18 adrien probably would’ve said it was a bit of a bust ‘cause being a radiologist doesn’t actually mean i’ll get radioactive powers like spider-man someday. but fully grown adrien, prefrontal cortex fully sorted out and all, he’s... well, it’s not always fun, but is it worth it? yes. i love being able to pour so much passion and productivity into helping fix bones and find stones and save lives when i can.”
