Traffic
Before I came here, I had already been informed on the horrible traffic situation in Oahu. BUT did I listen? No. I got a job...actually two (second one is temp.) and they are both a little over 20 miles. It's a stretch, and I thought, "gas is gonna be rough" but sure I can do it. It's only for a few weeks until I find a place closer. Boy was I wrong. I have to be at work by 8:30am. It takes me more than an hour and a half to get to work, and that's STILL not enough. I already get my poor little body up at 6am but now it seems I will have to get up and going even earlier. Oh, and the speed limit here doesn't go past 45-50. It's torture.
Bright side: The drive is scenic (:
