Doing Infectiontober 2025 by casually-salad, heres what I drew for day 27 (Lovers)

MLP FIM Big Brain AU! Hope takes Sombra with her to learn under Celestia and Starswirl. Princess Amore is corrupted by Rabia, who is downright livid her original plan was foiled by the now Princess Alicorn Radiant Hope. Sombra himself later is able to cast aside his Umbrum origins and become a Prince alongside Hope. Later, the two try to liberate the Crystal Empire from Amore but fail last minute as Rabia is able to find out Hope is destined to bear Sombra's foals, even if it's never specified when, and she is able to make Sombra loose it.

Later, the pair get married and have several foals, most of whom either decide to become adventurers or just want to be disconnected with royalty. But, there are two foals they have that wind up adoring them, Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle. Yes, Sombra's their daddy in this universe and the two try to be as involved in Twi's life as possible, to an embarrassing degree sometimes. When people find out she's the daughter of royalty, they freak and try and abnormal amount to please her.

When The Crystal Empire finally returns, Amore is freed but Rabia and her army flees (they'll take the place of Sombra in S9). From there forward, they rule over the Crystal Empire as Hope saw in her vision and they decide to retire for their granddaughter Flurry Heart 1000 years later.

End of AU is the two living near the ocean and having a free life devoid of Royal duties, Instead being old and cute together. I'd probably turn this into a fic if I'm consistently reminded about it every day or something akin to that. This is just a general AU outline.
