Kris wasn't scared of Susie. Generally, at least, they thought she was cool. She didn't give a fuck about anything and anyone, she made everyone piss their pants, and she didn't have problems saying what went through her mind. That was cool as hell. She was cool as hell.
But finding themselves alone with her was still a little... nervewrecking. Kris wasn't sure why she decided to stay in class when everyone but the two of them left. They had to be there waiting for their mom ( you decide to go swim in the lake in winter ONCE and suddenly you're not allowed to leave class by yourself anymore, huh!? ), but she was free to go, right?
Unless she wanted to mess with them, that is. Or... steal chalk again, considering she immediately went to rummage through Alphys' desk as soon as everyone else left.
Who knows.

For some reason, they didn't seem particularly interested in offering their pencils for her two chew again. Keep your head low, Kris. We don't need more trouble.
