what would completely break your character ? 

naturally ,  the death of a close friend.      when you’re out risking your life every day ,     the unpredictability     of loss     just kind of makes you desensitized ,     and funerals     --     going about them almost becomes like second nature .     yet ,  marr wouldn’t know what to do if he lost someone     he could’ve saved ,     let alone someone he had just seen the other day ,     or yesterday ,     an hour ago ,     having a conversation with them ,     sharing a joke ,     exchanging a smile     and growing convinced that the grim side of the world     could never drag that person down into the dirt     with the rest ,    just for a mere second .

eyes poke around .     one would be able to tell he doesn’t like this question .     and arms crossed ,     closing him off to the world ,     it’s obvious he values his privacy ,     especially as of right now .     “ i’m as honest as i need to be     ----     i don’t trust people outside of the job ,     how about that ? ”     in the pit of his tone ,     it sounds as if he says this      like he has something he needs to prove .

what makes you laugh ?

finally ,  a question that stumps him .     “ ...   i don’t really know  ...     i can’t remember the last time     i really laughed  ... ”     oddly enough ,     he just so happens to chuckle at that .     yet ,  it is empty     and hollow,      never of fulfilled of poise ,     ultimately disingenuous .     “ anything ,  i ‘spose . “     to this day ,     he doesn’t underestimate himself.     “ just gotta catch me on the right day . ”

pause .     in scope ,  all that lies in view     is blatant galavanting ,     the sights of crowd of figures convening ,     particularly brown hair bouncing in the air ,     swaying to and fro     between shoulders ,     over some antics     he could never understand ,     wouldn’t want to understand .     drawing many eyes to the center of the room ,     it’s hard to miss .    audible playfulness     tries to win the ways     of easily distracted colleagues ,     who don’t relieve the trouble in his eyes     when they enable her     like paid entertainment .     it looks unprofessional     and, while he attempts     to spend his morning     trying to keep everything orderly ,     as copacetic as possible ,     it deems quite embarrassing for him .     “ toussard ! ” warning tone ,     albeit a threatening aim     found vivid in the small pit of his beady eyes .     “ did you get those reports in to me ? ”
