Imperial peanut butter stout. Sound like an absolute treat, right? Let's dive in! It pours the darkest of brown. Big dark beige head, Leaves a small lacing on the glass as it fades slowly. As soon as I cracked this can open, huge peanut aroma hit the nose. So not surprised when peanut dominates the aroma. Roasted malts, alcohol and bready. Really feels like I'm sniffing the peanutbutter jar. Taste: Sweetness overload on the start. Thick and full bodied. Big malt precense. Roasted malts, peanuts, caramelized malts and cocoa. LOVE IT! 🥜🖤 Followed by bitterness from cocoa. Alcohol burn appear in the bittersweet and dry finish. Wow, this was right uo my alley. Thick, sweet and full bodied.
