It’s been a long time since I actually posted a #viola picture, so here we go. This is my baby. It is a 1927 Johann Hornsteiner viola, of which only a few were ever made. It’s a beautifully dark, deep, and rich-sounding viola, well suited for both solo and orchestral playing. I wish I had more of a chance to play it, but such are the sacrifices of working adulthood.
