Hips 42 inches I learned how to sew at a very young age growing up around my mother & grandmother sewing & making clothes. My mother was always making custom curtains for our homes and my Halloween costumes for me every year, as well as customizing my childhood outfits. When I was in high school, I started taking basic sewing classes on Saturday mornings at the local fabric store where I grew up in Tampa, FL. I’d come into the classes hungover from partying the night before 😂 with my portable CD player & headphones 🎧 listening to punk rock while learning to sew stupid shit like pillows 😂 I was the youngest person in the class by SEVERAL decades, and I’d always get really frustrated with the teacher because I wanted her to show me how to construct the design ideas I had with the pretty fabrics I’d pick out from the store, whereas she was only trained to stick to the course curriculum. 🙄 After feeling like I learned all I could learn from those classes (they were pretty basic techniques), I branched off on my own. My parents bought me 2 industrial sewing machines from a factory in FL that was downsizing, and those are the machines I still presently own today. I’ve always been into fashion & style, but getting into punk rock back in 2005, I was always frustrated by the lack of cute, girly designs for women, so I started making my own!
