[[ Salem used to be afraid of horses until he forced himself to buy one. He lucked out, Chauncey’s an ex barrel racer and dressage horse. Ain’t scared of shit because he’s big as hell, and was also thoroughly desensitized since the woman who had him before liked doing crazy horse tricks. She sold him because he’d be an easy horse for a beginner, like Salem.

Salem isn’t afraid of horses anymore but only really trusts Chauncey. ]]
