Sure do love unsolicited training advise while at work...my horse is NOT too old to take me to GP or PSG....shes 15....jfc....I can’t today. I want to go home or at least be allowed to write my soft core porn in peace. Its apparently too much to ask though.....
When I was a small child and owned a veritable herd of model horses I longed for and dreamed of the day I would finally OWN a REAL horse of my own so that all the tiny pretend brushes, and curry combs and buckets would be REAL. FUCK. THAT. I am taking no less then FIVE tubs and my tack trunk full of that shit for a four day show for ONE HORSE. ONE HORSE. I only own about half of what I am taking...because this shit is all so expensive and somehow in over 20 years in this sport I have some how NOT collected all the damn accessories.....UGH. Championships here we come. Ready or (definitely) not.
Oh hey- WE QUALIFIED!
It was rainy as fuck all weekend and COLD (where the hell is summer!?) but we DID IT! Qualified for 2021 Regionals with scores in the high 60′s at our first rated show together. I love this horse so much. She was worth waiting a life time to find <3 My Good Carma <3
Show Update: Perhaps spending my entire Saturday writing Thranto and NOT studying my stupid dressage tests was in fact the BEST POSSIBLE USE OF MY TIME AND LIMITED BRAIN FUNCTION BECAUSE-
Training Level Test 1- 69%
Training Level Test 2- 70%
Training Level Test 3- 70% (DOUBLE THE QUALIFYING SCORE!)
So yeah. 0 regrets. None. Not one. Also I love my horse SO SO MUCH she is the best in the universe. And I’m still not so burnt out that I didn’t just open that WIP for some edits.......god bless show season.
