Regarding your hunt for the model horses, Model Horse Sales Pages might help. It is the best known secondhand model horse selling/buying/trading website. I ran a search for "Ertl" and didn't see the ones you linked, but maybe you know details that would get you a better search. It is also free to post ads so placing a wanted ad might be good.

Not the ones in the Tennessee Walker set, no. However, as you might have read (there was a link to a different post in the Walker post) my friend and I did find the other two sets my grandfather gave me. So that’s good.

Several people found the same ebay seller I did, username toysgolf, who had a large lot of these horses including the Tennessee Walker set. I did contact them! They said they weren’t breaking the lot up yet. They said this in all caps, in fact, which I found mildly intimidating. That was a couple weeks ago so I sent another message today, but I’m not hopeful.

With the addition of a chicken coop (centre) and a cow pen (not pictured) I'm starting to get self-sufficient here. I need to run a proper wall around the whole place though. Monster keep getting in. It's all the damn caves. I can't even dig a mine without breaking through into a huge spooky cave system!
