Tonight is no different from the night before. After all of the experimentation in yesterday's dream (and after he had gotten some sleep to follow), Ringleader set about getting in touch with Hal, who consented to a bit of experimentation of his own. In the end, Ringleader wasn't able to use his voodoos on Hal, which ruled out the thought that your dream body was some kind of soulbot.

You're not actually sure if it's even "your" dream body. No psi, no scars, and it feels a little different to operate, like you're a slightly different person when you're sleeping. Maybe that's just because you aren't fully conscious, but it's not comfortable to wake up to the realization that you've been a whiny wriggler idiot all night long.

You did what you could to get Meenah up to speed now that you've confirmed that there is a problem, but it's gotten so late in the process of having that conversation. Though you are tired, you are reluctant to sleep. Sleeping means going back there, a restless spirit in a snowglobe, and it means taking Ringleader with you. He doesn't want to leave you alone, for which you are immensely grateful... but you know he won't be able to handle that kind of strain night after night.
