Ingredients: 1 cup of high-quality semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/4 cup of heavy cream. 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows. 1/4 cup of crushed candy canes. 6 plastic spoons or wooden sticks.
Instructions: Put the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Stir the mixture every 20 seconds while it's in the microwave until the chocolate melts and it's smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix it in well. Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet. Put some of the melted chocolate into each plastic spoon or mold. Place small marshmallows and broken candy canes on top of each spoon. For about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate sets, put the spoons in the fridge. Slowly take the spoons out of the molds or the baking sheet once the chocolate is hard. Put clear cellophane or plastic wrap around each spoon on its own. Put a gift tag or ribbon with a holiday theme on each spoon. To use, just add hot milk to the hot chocolate spoon and stir it around until the chocolate melts and the hot chocolate is smooth. Enjoy the rich and tasty hot chocolate you made yourself!
