Hc: Tachibana, Gotta and Aijima have been working for the Ootori group for years. They were Yoshio's personal bodyguards until his youngest son was born. That's when the big guy was like "here. Watch him." At first the 3 of them were confused cause none of them knew anything about kids. And this one was really small. And still in diapers. And they were kind of frustrated because, really? After all this time with the company, they get degraded to watching the guy's baby? Humph. It does come with a raise so they don't complain too much. But still.

But then one day Hotta stubbed his toe on the table and Kyoya spit his pacifier out and gave this great big gummy baby laugh and all the guys were floored. This was a cute baby.

They've been in love with him ever since.

One time when Kyoya was five, he called Tachibana Dad by accident.

"Kyoya? Do you.... Think of me as a father?"

"N-No!"

And they've called him "Master Kyoya ever since he was 2.

"Master Kyoya, Please! Candles aren't for babies!"

"Master Kyoya, don't waddle so fast! You'll fall down."

"Master Kyoya, please don't eat legos."

Can you imagine Yoshio like, half heatedly handing over baby Kyoya, still in a onesie and a diaper, to Tachibana. And Tachibana holding the little baby at arm's length and being like ",,, I will protect this with my life."

And Hotta's in the background, wearing an apron and carrying a diaper bag. And Aijima is testing a baby bottle on his wrist. Cause if the milk's too hot he'll never forgive himself.

Young!Kyoya Headcanon, that 5 yo Kyoya was nervous during his first day of school, but didn't want to admit it. He just made Tachibana hold his hand and walk with him to his classroom. And made him promise that he'd be there once school let out.

Except Kyoya wasn't nervous anymore after school let out and told Tachibana that he doesn't need him anymore because he's a "big kid now" which ultimately broke Tachibana's heart.

+ Kyoya made Hotta push him on the swing set everyday at recess because his little feet couldn't touch the ground.
