These cacti started life as one very small cactus which my dad’s parents picked some 5 or 6 decades ago, somewhere in the Southwest (I think New Mexico), while on a road trip. . The little one kept growing and producing baby ones and has been in several of my family’s households and they’ve gone through many repottings (that’s a bit of a trick, haha). .
