Pretty much good to go
We are online and good to go. Sure there are some loose ends needing to be tended to, but there will always be something. We are open ready to record to start getting some songs, music, and other art rolling! Lets get 2012 cranked up and started!
About Htown Studio
Htown Studio is a modest Project Studio where all recording is digitally recorded with professional equipment. The analog signal is converted via a 32bit PCI connection with codec sampling speeds up to 96,000Hz. Pre-amps are used and each track is individually mastered before mix and various effects are available. There is a large control room, a decent size vocal booth with glass to the control room and to the lounging area.
The engineer / producer has been working with audio production since the 1980s, officially trained in audio production in the very early 1990s, has worked with several studios over the years and is a seasoned professional artist. He has worked with a multitude of artists including such Rap artists as AD Outlaw, 5th Lyric, Dirty P, Slo Mo and Lil Sho, UTG, among others, and many others in a variety of styles ranging from Rock, Blues, Jazz, Experimental, Industrial, etc. Check out the current pricing and specials for out super competitive financial requirements.
We have a good size library of beats, samples, access to a plethora of beats, as well as live musicians to help you realize the conclusion of your project.
Need more CDs when you walk out of the studio? No problem, we have a 7-disc duplicator in house. Additionally, we have the abilities to help you with graphics design, MP3s, data population, videos as well as set you on the path for digital or physical distribution.

Forward progress toward the project studio
speakers are placed, just have one last set to place and will be running with five sets for mixing. The booth is pretty much finished (at least for now). The front room has made a lot of progress with still some work to do... shooting for Monday to open

December 2011 Pricing
We will be opening up soon and to start off with, this is the planned pricing (subject to change). We will also be doing specials as we get up and running and get everything squared away.
First come first serve. All payments for studio time must be made at the beginning of the session, cash only.
To reserve a specific slot, requires a minimum 24hr notice and full payment for time slot; reservations must be made between 10am and 8pm. No refunds!
If studio changes or cancels you will be rescheduled!
Currently the plan is...
RAPPERS: You will get specified mic time, EQ, Mix, Effects, Master, and an audio CD. If you require more mic time the charge is $20 for a 30 minute block (paid up front). Do keep in mind that additional vocal tracks may require more time for mixing. *You bring beats or $5 for a 10 minute block to beat search.
*$50 for song: 1 hour mic time.
*$75 for two songs: 2 hours mic time
*freestyle block: $60 for an one hour session, you will receive a rough eq, mix, and audio CD.
*Studio time: $120 / 3hr block ($30/hr thereafter)
Be aware that after recording there will be time required for Eq, mix, and master unless you just want a raw mix down (still minimal time will be required).
