i find it really interesting how, directly after Elon Musk mused about making a website that tracked the truthfulness of reporters and media figures, the media told people that he was actually the worst and you have to hate him...and just hordes of people have practically fallen over themselves to hate him where they were either indifferent or had very positive views towards him before.
weird. definitely not a sign of being easily manipulated.
#like#don't get me wrong#I don't think he's some perfect saint#or genius who's going to save us all#but he's definitely not worse than your average company owner#and an awful lot of stories about him#are either stupid gossip#or just outright misrepresentation#once you dig even a little#it's just a bit funny to me#how easily#so many people#jumped right on the hate train
