Howard loves it when someone compliments his robotics projects. But like in a “please let me tell you every detail about how this works now.”
as for physical vs emotional affection.
He isn’t really big on physical affection with most people. If someone he didn’t know super well tried to hug him he’d be SUPER awkward about it. But with a select few he won’t think twice about just flopping on top of them.
Jesse however. Her favorite thing to do with people is pick them up and hug them like a rag doll. Especially visitors and coworkers she’s particularly fond of.
She also happens to be one of the people Howard doesn’t care about physical affection with. Which is good cause He’s her favorite victim of this. (Btw in this picture Jesse’s probably at her shortest setting. Howard has his limits.)
Jesse also loves a person who’s willing to answer all her questions about things. Being a robot only recently built means she has a LOT.
As for the second question!
Howard: doesn’t like anyone messing with his projects. That’s a good way to get on his social, emotional, and physical blacklist. Do something serious along those lines?
Jesse: silly answer, purposely letting soda go flat. She has reportedly asked someone who did this if they were a masochist.
Less silly answer, Don’t touch her blueprints, Howard’s the only person she feels comfortable even seeing those. Her protectiveness stems from a particular incident that happened. Someone broke into the park and stole her blueprints, damaging Jesse in the process. She got them back eventually when the guy was found trying to sell them but oh boy.
The anxiety that stemmed from that situation was brutal.
