hi! just wondering, what kind of butchery training do you have? i work as a butcher in a supermarket & i've done their highest level of training but it was kinda rubbish :( i'm really interested in butchery and it's really cool to see someone else who is too, especially another lesbian :D sorry if this is a bit weird shdjdbsjs

None yet except personal research and practice! I briefly worked in a butcher but had to quit because the boss was Very homophobic/transphobic/generally a horrible person. I’m attempting to get an apprenticeship, which in Australia/Victoria is basically having a full time job with slightly shitter wages, while doing a very simple 4 year course on the subject & being supervised and educated by a qualified butcher within the business you’re working at. At the end of those 4 years you’re a fully qualified butcher! But finding butcher apprentice placements is uuuh ! pretty hard ! not a lot of them available.
