Hey! Sorry to bother you but on mobile the faq and commission info links seem to redirect to your latest posts - i was looking for commission info/faq to ask about openings and am unable to see it :( not sure if the link is broken or something wonky on my end?

Hello, I’m answering this publicly for everyone else using the mobile application, I hope that’s okay!

My FAQ and commission information pages have to be opened in a browser window, they will not display on mobile. Typing /FAQ and /commission-info after my blog’s URL in your device’s browser should bring you to the pages.

Also,I’m flattered by the interest in commissioning me, but I don’t have any slots available right now. When I do, they’re offered to my Patrons on Patreon first and foremost, with any leftover openings being advertised publicly afterwards. As such, I can’t givean estimated timeframe for my availability. Sorry!

Ice has a difficult time competing with other regions. It’s fairly isolated (being its own continent), and the harsh environment doesn’t play friendly to business. Stores often close due to lack of both customers and merchandise, while other industries avoid it like a plague. Shipping costs are too hefty to consider large exports, and that’s assuming there aren’t problems with excessive rusting in other equipment and production. Truly, Ice is little more than an abandoned wasteland, which is perhaps why it attracts so much tourism.

Tourism is Ice’s second largest industry (behind paid-for-profit prisons). It’s large open areas, scenic mountains, and light snow leave visitors breathless (especially coming from areas without extreme weather changes). Many entrepreneurs set up rows of cabins and ski-resorts to cater to out of flight visitors. There’s heavy emphasis on merchandising (such as the famous “I went to Ice and all I got was a Burn” t-shirt), and customers are heavily hounded into buying merch packages or even time shares. As one can imagine, lawsuits are often brought against shady salesmen, but are frequently dropped as no one wants to keep returning to pay heavy court fees (another profit for Ice).

baggy it's 0119 and i'm thinking about the rate of expansion of the universe, and how by the time we achieve intergalactic travel all the star systems will have moved too far away from each other for anything to be accomplished :(
